Since
being sworn-in January 2005, I have demonstrated that I am a dedicated,
proven leader on the Lumbee Tribal Council and in the community.
I represent a new generation of Lumbee leaders – educated, focused
and a strong advocate for Lumbee people. Since 2005, I have served
District 6 (North Pembroke and Raft Swamp) with integrity, honesty and
dependability and with a resolve to do what is best for the Lumbee people.
During my first term on the Tribal Council, I served as speaker from
July 2005 to January 2007. I have also served on each of the Tribal Council’s
standing committees, including leadership positions as chair of the Public
Relations Committee, co-chair of the Education Committee and vice-chair
of the Constitution Committee.
I would be honored
to continue my commitment to the Lumbee people by serving a second
term on the Tribal Council. I appreciate your support!
