Tribal Council elections are being held for Districts 2, 3, 6, 8, 12 and 13.

The election is scheduled for:

• Date: Tuesday, November 20, 2007
• Time: 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Polling Sites for District 6:
  • Indian Education Resource Center (former Pembroke High School)
  • O.P. Owens Building (at Health Department)
• Request An Absentee Ballot (PDF - requires Adobe Reader) [opens in a new window]
  • If you or someone you know can not make it to the polls the day of the election or lives outside of Robeson, Scotland, Hoke and Cumberland counties, you can vote in the election by requesting an absentee ballot.
  • Requests and return of ballot must be submitted via U.S. mail.
• The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Friday, October 26, 2007.
• The deadline to return the absentee ballot is Monday, November 19, 2007.
